Exercise

The Rottweiler is a large dog and one that needs plenty of exercise. Remember, it was bred as a working dog.
Rottweilers need plenty of physical and mental stimulus to keep them happy. While care must be taken during their developing years, once they reach adulthood and their bones are fully developed, you cannot give a Rottweiler too much exercise.
Rottweilers excel at games of every kind. They also love swimming. They make excellent training partners and will happily run alongside their owner when jogging or cycling. They also excel at the likes of obedience training, agility and flyball. The more variety of mental and physical activity you give your Rottie, the happier he will be!
